TRANSFORM YOUR MATH BLOCK
With a comprehensive FULL YEAR Ontario Math Program that gives you the resources you need to focus on building a deep understanding of math concepts with your students, without spending your weekends planning and prepping!
Teaching math today is hard. Simply teaching students basic math facts and algorithms to be memorized and regurgitated is no longer enough.
It’s your planning time. While scoffing down your lunch, you’ve got the next lesson to plan, photocopies to make, those science reports to mark (still), report cards are coming up. But first you have to quickly call a parent… And now everything is coming home with you. Again.
There is so much to consider every day that there just isn’t enough time. Between planning, teaching, marking, giving feedback, writing reports. . . Layer in parent contact, meetings, behaviour, coaching, eating lunch. . . It’s a lot!
If you feel like you’re juggling kittens while treading water . . . with your winter boots on, you’re not alone. We’ve been there.
By the time you’ve figured out what you need to teach, hunted down materials, and created from scratch what you couldn’t find, there’s little time left to think about how to teach the material. Forget about making it engaging. Or differentiated…
Maybe you’ve tried some ready-to-use resources before, but they just didn’t cut it for you. The outdated “I do, We do, You do” strategy isn’t giving your students the chance to take ownership of their learning, build flexible thinking and learn to solve problems – skills you know today’s students need.
Yep. We’ve been there too…
Imagine starting each math class calm and confident, knowing you have…
…all the materials you need in one place.
…engaging, inquiry-based lessons.
…a focus on problem-solving and collaboration.
…a cohesive plan from introduction to assessment.
Picture this…
It’s Sunday night. Instead of feeling the dread of Monday morning creeping in, you’re playing a game with your kids. You don’t feel the need to get a stack of marking our of your teacher bag, or search online for a real-world activity to introduce that new math concept tomorrow.
Imagine your principal surprising you with a class visit. You start to panic, then realize your students are on-task, actively engaged in a hands-on math task. The noise is coming from meaningful math conversations, the movement is students collaborating, problem-solving and using math manipulatives. They are impressed with your thoughtfully prepared materials and make a note for your formal evaluation later that year.
You’re working with a small group of students who need a little extra support. Students are happily working in their assigned math centres. They know where to go and what to do. And they’re actually doing it. You didn’t have to race around creating activities so you can put your effort into guided math groups and one-on-one conferences, and really enjoy seeing your students thrive.
But we know the reality is a little different…
You’re here because you don’t have the tools, resources or time you need to really put together a cohesive math program that builds solid math thinking skills for all your students.
If you’ve got any board-provided materials at all, they are woefully outdated and mediocre at best. You want something better than a series of practice questions out of a textbook or worksheets. Your kids deserve it.
Do you find yourself thinking?
“It’s so hard to find materials that really align with the Ontario Curriculum.”
“I feel overwhelmed with all the things I have to do every single day.”
“I’m new to teaching and I don’t even know where to start.”
“I wish I had more engaging math resources that my students enjoyed.”
“I want my students to really understand math concepts, not just memorize (then forget)!”
If you’re an Ontario grade 4 – 8 math teacher struggling to teach math effectively…

So far, my students have found this resource to be absolutely amazing. It is helpful, clear, and allows deeper and critical thinking. I have seen other math resources from TPT, and this is still my favourite. It truly has everything you could possibly need for the entire year. I used the Grade 5 bundle for online teaching last year, which made me confident in purchasing this bundle. I’m very glad that I purchased this.
About the Grade 5 Math Bundle:
I’ve used this resource two years in a row. I’ve used it both in-person, and online. My students LOVE math because of this resource, and it made my life sooooooo much easier.

feel confident with 800+ amazing reviews
Hey there! We’re Claire and Terry, two Ontario-certified teachers with over 40 years of combined experience.
We love math and wanted our students to love it too! Yet by the time we had figured out what we needed to teach, hunted down materials, and created from scratch what we couldn’t find . . . it was exhausting.
As math lead teachers, we had the unique opportunity to dive deep into best practices. We worked with peers and experts to create engaging, rich learning opportunities for students that went beyond the dusty textbooks in our classrooms or worksheets of knowledge-based questions.
After countless conversations with frustrated teachers wanting to provide a math program that fostered critical thinking and built solid math understanding but didn’t have the tools they needed, we decided to share what we had learned.
Sound familiar? Are you tired of the constant struggle to plan, teach and assess EVERYTHING with little to no good resources, too?
BELIEF #1
Math should be Hands-on and Meaningful
It’s time to move away from “I do, We do, You do” and let students take the lead role in their learning. When we give them time, space and support to explore math concepts, challenge their thinking and encourage risk-taking, they will build strong math thinking skills that won’t be forgotten.
Students will develop strategies and procedures that actually make sense to them. They’ll also gain confidence, perseverance and collaborative skills!
BELIEF #2
Every Student Can be ‘Good’ at Math
“New math” isn’t new. Good math students were always using ‘tricks’ and strategies, only now we’re unlocking their power for ALL students to be successful!
All students can be good at, and enjoy, math. When materials are at the appropriate level, engaging and meaningful, students will not only find math more interesting, they will get it!
BELIEF #3
Math Should be Building Math Thinking not Memorizing
“Drill and kill” is not necessary for students to succeed at math. Understanding the concepts and knowing how to solve problems is far more important. This understanding leads to a stronger ability to perform operations as well!
BELIEF #4
Teachers Shouldn’t Have to Spend Their Weekends Planning
When you have high-quality resources that are ready-to-go, you can spend your weekends like you’re supposed to…with family and friends, or a good book.
You will have the time and energy to focus on actually teaching your students, helping them build a solid math foundation.
Our goal is to save you the HOURS of searching for the right teaching materials, the STRESS of not having the support you deserve and the wasted MONEY on resources that still aren’t quite right.
