The lessons require teachers to create an account on Scratch, an online coding program. Kodable is also highly recommended to get the most out of these lessons. Both are completely FREE and great programs for working on coding skills! Links and details are included in the download.
While these lessons do cover expectations from grade 1, they are written with a junior level audience in mind.
The downloaded file will give you a unit cover page, teacher pages and a link to access all files through Google Drive. If you don’t use Google Drive, the Slides files will download and convert to PowerPoint.
